SilogSkateMag! – Welcome to our new chapter!!

Yes, this is not a prank; we have already decided to take the jump! We are now SilogSkateMag!

We never expected it to be in this form, because yup, in all honesty, we just started small and shitty last year, June 2025.

Last year, we got no bigger direction, no bigger goals, no bigger formats; everything was just about appreciating and being a fan of this art form– well, up until now, we still do it.
What I’m trying to say is lots of doors opened, lots of opportunities were made, given, and created. And we thought that maybe the world nowadays feels like chaotic and ending already, and there’s no place anymore for us to hold back from our dreams– and what is it to lose right?

Thus, today as we celebrate our First Year Anniversary, we are now turning this silly platform into a Skate Mag!

There’s actually nothing big that’s changed. It’s just the name!!

Plus, we will try to feature more in-depth video stories & documentaries, maybe we will do more feature write-ups about skaters we can encounter with, try to push to go to more places and learn; well, we will just do whatever we can, and what our capabilities permit us, ‘cos it’s hella expensive to be a Filipino!! With all the effin inflation, gas prices, god knows anything!

Plus, we are taking down all the advertisements from our website because of the bugs it gives, the monetization offers (cos we are getting copyright claims and flag warnings already), and focusing more on reading and viewing experience.

Plus, we still have more collaborations and surprises on the horizon for this year, and God knows what will be next?! And yes, a printed magazine, of course!

One thing is for sure: we are still the child fans and nerds who grew up watching and getting inspired by this ever-growing and getting wilder scene and art form, called skateboarding.
